Our History
The Drill Hall Emporium was established more than a decade ago by entrepreneurial sisters Donna and Tammy and their mother Sue.
As children, Donna and Tammy recall childhood memories of traipsing around country clearing sales with their parents hunting for interesting antiques. There were always antiques in the family home and Donna and Tammy developed an affinity for sourcing, restoring and displaying their antique finds.
They started a shop in a large empty former Army Drill Hall, hence the name The Drill Hall Emporium. The shop became a favourite with locals searching for unique and decorative items for their homes. Inevitably, word of such a unique store spread and The Drill Hall Emporium started to flourish.
Travelling overseas opened up a whole new world of antiques for Tammy, Donna and their clientele. They are constantly searching locally and abroad for objects to fill The Drill Hall Emporium to the delight of their growing clientele. As new and existing customers will attest, the store is always brimming with both decorative and unusual objects.
